Summary:

The Application Developer - ServiceNow is a role within the Consulting and Transformation team. In this role, they will act as the subject matter expert in the development of ServiceNow offerings to our clients. Deep proficiency across the ServiceNow platform from inception through development is critical. This role will collaborate with the project team members, developers, and external client teams to provide high-quality business solutions and play an active role in projects from delivery to operational support.

Responsibilities:

· With the guidance of the Consulting and Transformation team, key clients, and business priorities, develop law firm operational workflows within the ServiceNow environment.

· Assist the team and our clients in the delivery model and supporting ServiceNow initiatives focused on business modernization of the product and its sub-modules.

· Design and deliver effective business and operating models to our clients spanning the full ServiceNow platform, while leveraging law firm operational knowledge for successful implementations.

· Where needed, implement and integrate various data sources to enable business workflows for law firms.

· Implement reports and dashboards tuned to client key performance indicators.

· Assure care and feeding of business critical ServiceNow environments, integration points, as well as custom modules and workflows from development, through quality assurance processes, and deployment.

· Ensure quality client ready technical documentation as required by each engagement.

· Provide coaching and guidance to junior developers on best practice approaches to implement required functionality involving technical leads as required.

Qualifications:

· 2 plus year of experience with software design and development.

· Law firm operational experience, with a focus on ServiceNow development.

· Experience with ServiceNow development, including core platform.

· Experience working with Web technologies, including GlideScript, JavaScript, Ajax, HTML, AngularJS, and CSS.

· Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies and participating in the software development life cycle (SDLC).

· Expertise in ServiceNow development, including UI policies, business rules, client scripts, and workflows.

· Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

· Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.

· Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Law firm or other professional services firm experience preferred.

· Experience with ITSM, CMDB, ITAM, SAM, and/or ITOM.

· ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification or any ServiceNow implementer certification.

· One or more years of experience with ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM), Hardware and Software Asset Management (HAM and SAM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), and/or HR Service Delivery (HRSD).

· ITIL Foundation certification.
